Approved set-top boxes
CryptoGuard uses an open set-top box solution. Contact our resellers directly to purchase a TV-receiver prepared for CryptoGuard. The receivers are able to handle encrypted as well as non encrypted channels and meets the requirements of the service providers.
All of the approved boxes supports pairing. This means that you have the option to pair the card with a specific set-top box to further protect your content. The card can then only be used with the designated box which effectively prevents card-sharing. It is also possible to use the set-top boxes in networks without the CryptoGuard system for non encrypted content.
CA-Module
We also have CA modules for CryptoGuard. This makes it easy for customers that have a flat-TV with a built-in DVB-C tuner. In this case you only need your TV's remote control to access all your channels.
